The parliamentary committee on constitutional and legal issues unanimously agreed to prepare a joint draft based on the bills for amendments to the Judiciary Act adopted on the first vote. The decision was made unanimously with 18 votes “for“.
On Wednesday, in the plenary hall, the deputies adopted on the first reading all three bills for amendments to the Judiciary Act, related to the election of a new prosecutor general. Two of the bills – by “Continuing Change-Democratic Bulgaria“ and that by “There is such a people“ were supported unanimously with 222 votes “for“.
That of “Vazrazhdane“ was supported by 193 votes “for“, 28 – “against“ and not a single “abstain“. “Against“ the amendments proposed by “Vazrazhdane“ were voted “by the deputies from the parliamentary group of “DPS-New Beginning“.
