One year since the hijacking of the ship "Galaxy Leader" with the two Bulgarian captains in Yemen, Lyubomir Chanev and Danail Veselinov, continue to be held captive by the Houthis, bTV reports.
Today in the church "St. Nicholas the Wonderworker" in Varna, also known as the sailor's church, a prayer service was held for the recent return to Bulgaria of the two captains.
A day ago, the Council of the International Maritime Organization also called for the release of the sailors.
"Certainly after a year spent the way they spent it, their health, mental and physical, certainly suffered severely, as did their families," said Zoltan Sulai, manager of the company that hired the sailors.
