A 52-year-old trolley driver was beaten by a passenger at the stop in front The National Library in Sofia.
The incident happened around 5:00 p.m. today, BTV reported.
The driver has a broken nose and arm and a head injury. An ambulance took him to ISUL.
The SDVR announced that according to initial information, there were two drivers in the trolley – one that drove and a second that probably should have replaced it.
A cyclist of a delivery company overtook the trolley on the road. At the National Library stop, the two drivers got off the trolley and started fighting with the cyclist. Passengers also took part in the fight.
The SDVR has no information on who the victim is.
