A 28-year-old man is in danger of his life after a road accident between a car and a cart, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vratsa announced, bTV reported.
Yesterday at around 5:55 p.m., a crash occurred between a car and a cart on the Knezha - Selanovtsi road. The driver of the cart, a 28-year-old man from Selanovtsi, is in danger of his life and has been transported to a hospital in Pleven, the police report states. They added that the cause of the accident was an incorrect maneuver - the driver of the cart exiting onto a main road.
The alcohol and drug tests of the driver of the car, a 34-year-old man from Oryahovo, were negative. A blood sample was taken from the driver of the cart for laboratory testing. The prosecutor on duty was notified and pre-trial proceedings were initiated.
