„Everyone united against the budget, which is good, because the figures in the budget framework are practically a single digit of political carelessness"
This was stated to bTV by former Minister of Economy Lydia Shuleva.
"In the conditions of several parliaments in a pre-election situation and under the pressure of well-directed street protests, the necessary floating majorities appeared, which led to the generous distribution of millions with a light hand. "And there has already been a lot of talk that pensions should be reduced," commented Shuleva.
“There is obviously an attempt to exert political influence through the budget, to exert influence on political processes and whether a government is formed or not, and an attempt to get out of a stronger crisis. We are entering the New Year without a budget with legal uncertainty for some payments“, believes Petar Ganev - senior researcher at the Institute for Market Economics.
