912 violations were detected by mobile cameras in 16 hours in the area of km 68 of the "Maritsa" motorway (between Simeonovgrad and Topolovgrad - editor's note), where repairs are being carried out, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (ODMVR) in Haskovo announced. Traffic police officers have found that drivers are not slowing down, despite the temporary traffic organization introduced.
A police operation was carried out in the Haskovo region from May 30 to June 1 in the line of road safety. Early in the morning of May 31, a 57-year-old man was caught driving in Dimitrovgrad with 3.12 per mille of alcohol. He refused to undergo blood tests and was detained for up to 24 hours.
Over 1,511 motor vehicles in the district were checked. 59 acts and 544 tickets were drawn up for the violations found.
