The investigation into the case of the women injured after botulinum toxin injection continues. The Medical Supervision Agency confirmed to NOVA that they have questioned 25-year-old Arina Osipova, who is alleged to have performed the interventions.
The product she worked with was not imported into Bulgaria legally. The Prosecutor's Office, the police and the Ministry of Health are working on the case. A meeting with the Executive Agency for Medicines is also expected to establish whether the seized substance is also used in other clinics.
„The lady is not a doctor, she is not allowed to perform manipulations. We even know specifically the place in Sofia where she had a practice. "They also took down explanations and informed me that they had completed the voluntary seizure of the medicinal product," said the executive director of the Executive Agency "Medical Supervision" Ivanka Dineva.
