A report of a man who had fainted on Cherni Vrah on Vitosha Mountain was received by the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross earlier today, the service reported to BTA.
The report of the incident was filed by other tourists. The rescue service added that the man was hospitalized by medical helicopter at the capital's "St. Anna" hospital.
The medical facility reported that the victim is 33 years old. He was found in a very serious condition, in a diabetic crisis. His blood sugar was very low - about 1.7 units. He is admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit.
As FACT already wrote, in another incident today, a man died in front of his loved ones in Rila, probably from a heart attack.
