Capital markets are a safer place to store accumulated wealth than buying real estate. This is the opinion of most young Bulgarians. Nearly 50% of Bulgarians believe that stocks and stock trading are the best tools for both storing and accumulating wealth.
In Europe, 37% of young people aged 18 to 24 consider stocks and stock trading to be the best tool for accumulating wealth. Only 30% of people in the indicated age recognize real estate as such. In Bulgaria, 43% of young people prefer stock exchanges and 39% real estate. An interesting trend is observed among the latter.
The trend is exactly the opposite for adults (ed. note: 45-64 years old). They are strongly oriented towards real estate.
The reason why most young people do not orient themselves towards property investments is the need for a significant initial amount. In stocks and stock market trading, the investment can literally start from 1 EUR, while in real estate this is not the case.
