Varna overtook Sofia in the pace of housing price appreciation - 1

Dwellings rose in price by 9% in the first quarter of the current year in Varna, according to the data of the National Statistical Institute. For Sofia, this percentage is 8.6%. Plovdiv ranks third with a growth of 7%. The price per square meter of residential area in Stara Zagora increased by 5.2%.

The rate of price appreciation clearly does not scare buyers, considering that for the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year, the number of transactions recorded a growth of 31.8% for new properties and 10.4% for old ones.

The highest number of transactions was concluded in Burgas (28.5%), comparing the indicators with the previous three months. Homes in newly built buildings are more sold. The capital also recorded sales growth of nearly 25%, most of which (36.3%) was due to new apartment deals.
