The consulting company JLL has published the Global Real Estate Transparency Index (GRETI) study for 2024. The JLL Global Real Estate Transparency Index is based on a combination of quantitative market data and information collected through a survey of the global business network of JLL and LaSalle in 89 countries and 151 city markets. 256 criteria related to real estate transactions were taken into account.
The index rates markets on a scale of 1 to 5. Markets are given one of five levels of transparency based on their overall performance.
The most transparent markets are the UK, France and the US. At the other end of the ranking are Mozambique, Ivory Coast and Lebanon.
