The first mall in Sofia - City Center Sofia, which was put into operation in 2006, was rebranded in 2016 and renamed Park Center. In 2025, the retail store will undergo a change. The reason is the ambitions of the new owners to turn the mall into a leading shopping center. Two companies - – – Trinity Capital“ and – Hus Invest“ - are acquiring control over – Auriga“, which previously owned the shopping center. For this purpose, the buyers are creating a new joint venture – TSH Investment“. The deal was approved by the CPC at the end of this week.
The plans of the new owners are to invest in the material base and the team. The goal is to increase the number of visitors. The shopping center has a total area of 46,000 sq m, and the net leasable area is 23,000 sq m.
For 2023, a growth in rental income of 16% was registered, reaching 5.9 million BGN. However, net profit decreased by 40%, to 3 million BGN.
