Dubai's real estate strategy until 2033 sets ambitious goals: increasing the number of real estate transactions by 70% and bringing the total volume of transactions to 1 trillion AED, which in turn will contribute 73 billion AED to the emirate's GDP.
This strategy is the basis of the emirate's economic program and aims to turn it into an attractive global economic center. It also highlights the importance of sustainable development and creating balanced and cohesive communities, with the ultimate goal of increasing home ownership rates to 33%.
Lifelong Education
Dubai is committed to creating an education system based on lifelong learning that can adapt to changing conditions and nurture national talent. This future-oriented education system will “engage both teachers and students in a continuous process of creativity and growth“.
Dubai has developed a unique, innovative global model and is now building a more advanced education system. This strategy is an investment in Dubai's future by equipping the next generation with essential skills.
Transitioning to a Cashless Economy
It aims to make Dubai one of the top five cities in the world with a cashless economy by 2033. It is set to increase digital transactions across all sectors, generating AED 8 billion in value for the economy and ensuring that digital payments are accepted by all businesses in Dubai.
Improving Smart Mobility
The suspended transport systems project is a key element of Dubai’s smart mobility strategy. By 2030, the emirate aims to automate 25% of all journeys with a recently approved 65-kilometre system connecting Umm Suqeim, Al Khor and Zabeel roads. This new system will help increase the share of public transport trips in Dubai to 26% of total trips by 2030, integrating with other modes of transport to ensure efficient and sustainable travel in the emirate.
Integrating Global Hub Strategies
All these initiatives, launched under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aim to transform the emirate into a global hub for living, learning and investment.
