On the site of the warehouses of the former “Pirgosplod” in Burgas, located near the mall “Gallery“ and clinic “St. Nicholas the Wonderworker“ a new retail park will emerge.
During the last week, the storage areas of “Pirgosplod”, which have been empty for a long time, are being demolished. The field continues to be cleared. A new retail park will be built in its place. The plans are to move some of the brands that are currently located in the neighboring shopping center into it.
In the 90s of the last century in “Pirgosplod“ there was intense commercial activity, with the main customers being traders, owners of restaurants and shops. In the last decade, the company's activity has stagnated, as a result of which many of the warehouses have remained empty.
„Pirgosplod“ in the last 10 years or so it has died down and most of the warehouses have been empty. The place was bustling with people in the 1990s, and mostly traders, restaurant and shop owners shopped there. Gradually, however, the customers began to decrease, and the market in the retail sector changed, which led to the bankruptcy of a large part of the merchants in “Pirgosplod”.
