Criminalists from the Shumen Regional Office arrested perpetrators of food theft from a commercial establishment in the city with a total value of about BGN 9,000.
A report of the theft was received at the Shumen police station on September 18.
It has been reported that between September 7 and 13, unknown people committed multiple thefts of products. After receiving the signal, forensic experts from the city's police department have carried out numerous operational actions and are identifying the perpetrators.
These are two men aged 30 and 26 from Karnobat. During a search of their homes in the city, numerous food and other products were found and seized.
They were detained for a period of up to 24 hours in the Shumen Regional Office. The work on the initiated pre-trial proceedings continues, reports the OD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
