The prosecutor's office will bring a new, more serious charge against the 17-year-old student who beat a woman in Pernik for no reason. This was confirmed for NOVA by the state prosecution.
Last night it became clear that the woman had died after more than a month in a coma. The attack was at the end of July. Footage from the security camera of a convenience store showed the woman drinking coffee while two boys approached her. One of them starts beating her. An autopsy will tell what exactly caused the fatal outcome.
The attacker is in custody on a charge of causing moderate bodily harm due to hooliganism. The new charge will be for causing death, with the exact qualification becoming clear after a forensic examination. Behind bars, the attacker has turned 18.
