A seventeen-year-old student was swept away by the current in the Besed River in the village of Krasnaya Gora, Bryansk region, the night after his graduation, writes The Telegram channel Shot.
The teenager entered the water with three classmates. The young man immediately admitted to the boys that he could not swim and would only get his feet wet. Suddenly, the high school graduate was swept away by the current, his friends who were nearby tried to save him, but their attempts were unsuccessful.
The student's body was later recovered by divers. The deceased young man was on a course for volunteers and planned to study at a university in Moscow.
In the village of Lipchinskoye in the Slobodo-Turinsky district of the Sverdlovsk region, a two-year-old girl drowned in a garden barrel with water, the Ural Mash Telegram channel reported.
The mother and daughter arrived at the villa. The child was walking around the yard while the Russian woman was doing work in the garden.
When the woman finished her work, she started calling the girl. The worried mother began to search and spotted the child in the garden rain barrel. The baby showed no signs of life.
The district prosecutor's office organized an investigation into the incident.
