Although he did not study journalism as an academic major, Niki Doinov appreciates the opportunity to enter the profession through practice. So he did, learning from his more experienced colleagues. Until one day in 1998, Lily Popova, who was the head of News at Nova TV, told him that she was becoming the host of the news show. Niki Doinov was very worried because he did not see himself in this light. After all, he was young and unknown to anyone, and at that time eminent authorities such as Ivan Garelov appeared on the air of BNT. After a few exchanges online, the two went out together. And a few meetings later, they were already convinced of their feelings and intentions. A year later, their son Marko was born. The wedding was postponed until the future, because it was more important for them to create a family.
