Really suddenly came the introduction, just like that, days before the end of the activity of this parliament, a bill of GERB and DPS to ban the advertising of gambling . Quite a strong restriction and ban.

I personally admit that I had such a shameful, gambling period in my life, which I managed then, more than 20 years ago, to stop before I fell into a state of addiction. Only with a will, but I have a lot of that, and it wasn't easy at all.

I don't feel like it was the gambling ad that brought me to the gym, but I was there and I admit it, with all the shame I feel about it.

Now to the question.

Many people, including myself, have repeatedly spoken about Borissov's existing control over televisions.

These things are delicate, hard to prove, but the general feeling, especially before 2020, was that Borisov had such invisible control.

Preserving this control, or at least what is left of it, cannot but be the supreme personal task of Borisov and Peevski.

And right at that moment, suddenly out of nowhere, they are the ones who hit the TVs they want to rule with this tesla.

Something seems to me like a conflict with their own interests.

I also carefully read the analyzes saying that they /probably the two of them/ in this way lower the price of one of the television operators, which was in the process of sale.

It may be so, but the sale is somewhere in time, and the campaign that will rearrange the Bulgarian parliament has already started. And there is no way the “television” and the advertising business not to be “outraged” of this, “with all the means at their disposal”.

There is something, or rather things, that I do not understand.

The general determination of the political forces is the most important of them.

But the general decision of practically all members of parliament, although difficult for televisions and the advertising market in general, is good in the general human sense.

Because gambling addiction is a very scary thing!

Trust me, I've been there.

Hopefully this isn't one of those laws that will be overhauled again or outright repealed within a few months.

Because in our country the “normal” practice is the eighteenth amendment of the same law.

Is the body of deputies driven by real human motives or is there something I don't understand?

However, gambling advertising in Bulgaria is currently monstrous /quantitatively/ and really drugs the viewer.

In fact, it had fallen after the Bozhkov era, but then it reached sky-high proportions.

With it and the number of dependent and vulnerable people.

I hope this is really for good, although actions “just for good” from the Bulgarian Parliament.

I will try to believe.

Because even a minimal fraction of people are influenced by this, every saved person IS a saved person.

Forgive me for bothering you with this, but this matter is very personal to me and in various forms I try to help gambling addicts to overcome.
