Borisov's minority, but under the shadow of… This is how the situation looks after Rosen Zhelyazkov today took the folder from the president and offered a cabinet to the minority. It is Zhelyazkov who currently enjoys the highest public image among GERB people. But how much does this cabinet depend on him? Did he choose the ministers… Hardly, right? It is clear that Borisov is behind all this. And that's good.

What move is this - strategic or desperate

If Borisov was sure of the job in one full term, he would stand in front. But because the situation is in the “shadow” (b.r. - who we will see), for him and for GERB it is better to appoint a person as prime minister. Rosen Zhelyazkov is proven to be loyal, has gained experience, can take things over. Will he make it… It depends on the “shadow“… Will it be DPS, ITN, BSP – right, and they said “yes“ and that we will talk, but let's see.

A minority cabinet ends a long agony. Otherwise, we hear that PP will not give support, “Revival“ too. There aren't many options. It is an interesting fact that key figures from the caretaker government are present in the composition of this cabinet. On the one hand, this can be called continuity, but on the other, it looks like a joke. Kalin Stoyanov remains the interior minister. This clearly speaks for the relations with DPS. And the “shadow“… Where did you stay.

Otherwise, with this move, GERB is stating a position that it will determine the rules. Enough of the “shadow“ not to blindside the people making the rules.
