Peevski has been released from traffic police! The MPs around Peevski have been released from the DPS! The district governors, who are around Peevski, are exempted from DPS! Lots of news about DPS. And they come from the DPS camp (without Peevski), but why now…
Everything that happens in DPS follows some logic, has some idea, but it is not yet known what the effect will be. And as it turns out, he will rather be nothing.
The bombastic news about DPS without Peevski came out only a day after it became clear that the elections will be held on October 27. President Radev's decision was awaited. In other words – there is no time for radical changes. But there is time for “secret moves” to gain trust.
When a DPS supporter hears that Peevski is no longer in the DPS, he will remember it. Sounds good. Dogan said it, so it's true. However, whether this is legally justified, whether it is statutorily sustained for the common man is not important. He will neither care nor go to read the Party Charter. If Mr. Ahmed Dogan said it, then it is so.
And this is how a collision is created
On the one hand, we hear from both camps in the DPS that the party is run by COLLECTIVE bodies – they decide, they choose, they are everything. On the other hand, we hear that this is a decision of the Central Committee, and the meeting was called by the honorary chairman. Dogan can convene the Central Operational Bureau (COB), the Central Council (CS) and the Central Control Commission (CCC)!?
In this case, no one from the DPS (except Peevski) says whether the CSO had a quorum? Is it announced that the CSO has made a decision? Based on what… As a decision of a collective body or as a decision of the Honorary Chairman? Remember, the party is governed by the collective body, isn't it? Or by the honorary chairman alone… Which is more true.
The seal of the DPS
Who is holding which stamp with the DPS brand is important because it will be used to stamp the lists when the party appears at the Central Election Commission to register for the elections. In reality, the sheets must be signed by Delyan Peevski and Jevdezht Chakarov. This is clearly not going to happen.
However, when you say that the DPS already has new stamps, and the old ones are being invalidated, this tells the electorate that everything is still in Dogan's hands. When DPS (without Peevski) talks about a new seal, it means with a very high degree of certainty that the original seal is in the hands of Peevski. And now the goal is to neutralize it.
Whoever does not like the decision of the CSO, to complain to the CCC…
And here a case arises. The Honorary Chairman of the DPS Ahmed Dogan can convene the Central Committee, the Central Committee and the Central Committee – the question of whether there will be a quorum is another, but he has such rights. The period in which Dogan can convene the CCK is three months. Thus, the deadline shifts the two months until the elections. Another question is whether there is even a need to launch an appeal for the decision of the CSO, which is not explained how it was convened.
Here, not even the court can make a decision quickly, because first the intra-party appeal of a given decision has to go through, and then the court – as a last resort, to say whether party rules have been followed. So there won't be a complaint from Peevski, because there is no need.
The situation is complicated because both camps in DPS show character for the brand “DPS”. The big salvation, as we already wrote in FACTS, is for the two factions in the DPS to appear separately in the elections, being recognized by small parties that will have registration – understand the two DPSs to hang on to the so-called “launcher missiles”, using foreign registration. Respectively, Peevski's DPS and Dogan's DPS will be their faces before the voters. It is extremely clear who is who. But two DPS brands in elections… Hardly anyone ever expected this.
"Secret moves in DPS
The party is managed by collective bodies or by the honorary chairman alone...
