The management of CSKA-Sofia has reached an agreement for the attraction of striker Georgi Minchev from AEL Limassol, reports the Cypriot publication Shoot and Goal, quoted by BTA.
"The announcement of the transfer of Georgi Minchev to CSKA Sofia is only a matter of time. The Bulgarian, who arrived as a free agent in the winter, is leaving AEL," the publication writes.
The 29-year-old has scored 12 goals in 20 games this spring, but the Cypriots are unwilling to keep hold of him and have given him permission to look for a new club, although he is under contract for another season.
Minchev, who is a Litex junior, has also played in CSKA-Sofia, Tsarsko Selo, as well as in Latvian Auda and FC Riga.
The striker has 11 appearances for the Bulgarian national team.
