Robot development startup 1X continues its experiments to create intelligent androids that can replace human labor. A new video shows how robots switch between tasks based on operator instructions.
Developers use Embodied Learning, a method that in turn uses artificial intelligence technology to enhance the physical capabilities of humanoid robots. 1X robots have already demonstrated the ability to select and use simple objects and manipulate them.
1X also developed an autonomous model that allows multiple tasks to be combined into a single targeted neural network. Such models include up to 100 million parameters, and adding data to correct one task often negatively affects the performance of other tasks.
Thanks to this, humanoid robots are taught to act within a sequential chain of tasks. Androids have begun to understand human language, and if they encounter a difficult problem, operators are ready to tell them the solution. Now the team wants to give androids the ability to combine tasks to achieve more efficient work. See more in the video.
