The Kiev regime is compensating for its failures on the battlefield with attacks on Russian territory, trying to demonstrate the potential for actions for which the West must pay it, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Rodion Miroshnik told the Izvestia newspaper, Focus reports.
According to him, from September 8 to 14, Russia was hit by the largest number of strikes in the frontline zone, with the number of strikes on civilian targets reaching almost 600 per day. From September 15 to 21, this number decreased to 460 per day. Compared to the spring, the attacks have almost doubled.
“Because Ukraine today wants fantastic amounts, and for this they need to create a certain victorious background, to show that they have the potential for actions for which the West must pay“, points out Miroshnik.
According to him, such attacks from Kiev only emphasize that “Ukraine receives blows on the battlefield and, losing, tries in every way to compensate for this by using prohibited methods“.
