"Hamas", "Islamic Jihad" and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine rejected in a joint statement any form of placing Gaza under "foreign tutelage". The groups stressed that the management of the enclave is an exclusively internal Palestinian matter, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

They also expressed their readiness to benefit from Arab and international participation in the reconstruction of the strip.

The 20-point plan for Gaza proposed by US President Donald Trump proposes that the enclave be managed during a transitional period by a Palestinian committee of technocrats and politically neutral figures.

They will be tasked with managing public services and municipalities in Gaza. This committee will be formed by Palestinians who have the relevant qualifications and by international experts under the supervision and control of a new international body called the Peace Committee, which will be led by Trump, Agence France-Presse reports. Other heads of state will also be among the members of the Committee. The names of the members of this structure are yet to be announced. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be among them. This body will outline a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza and manage the financing of this reconstruction until the Palestinian Authority completes its reform program and is ready to take control of the enclave on its own.

Yesterday, "Hamas" came out with a position opposing the creation of such a committee.

US President Donald Trump expects the hostages held by the Palestinian movement "Hamas" in Gaza to "come home" on Monday, Reuters reported.

The US leader indicated to reporters at the White House that in addition to the living prisoners, at least 28 bodies of dead hostages would be returned to Israel. Trump added that he planned to visit Cairo and then speak to the Israeli Knesset before returning to the United States on Tuesday.
