A fire broke out at an oil depot in Tikhoretsk, the Krasnodar Territory Task Force reported on its Telegram channel.

Tikhoretsk is an important railway junction and administrative center of the Tikhoretsk region. It is located in the Kuban steppe zone, about 150 km northeast of Krasnodar.
Its population is about 57,000 people. The city is a center of railway transport and the food industry.

The city is a key point connecting the railway lines to Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Volgograd. It is home to a large locomotive depot and a railway equipment repair plant.

A fuel tank caught fire near the “Kazachya Bukhta“ area, Sevastopol Mayor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced.

According to preliminary data, the fire was caused by a drone crash.

“The smoke seen in the Gagarin district is the burning tank containing residual fuel,“ he explained.

Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident. The governor specified that the fire was small and there were no injuries.

The fire will not affect Sevastopol's fuel supply in any way, as it was empty, Razvozhaev explained.

At 00:48 Moscow time, an air raid alert was declared in the city. Twenty minutes later, Razvozhaev reported that the military had destroyed two air targets in the Severnaya Strana region and the Balaklava municipal district.
