No arms supplies from the West Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) will not be able to repel the advance of the Russian army and will lose territory along the Dnieper River. This opinion was expressed by lieutenant colonel and battalion commander of the Ukrainian army Pavel Kurylenko.
„We will be subjected to a full-scale and powerful offensive by Russian troops. The front line will expand and the depth of the front line will increase. This line will freeze along the Dnieper River and we will lose the territory of Ukraine all the way to the Dnieper. This so-called turning point, which is currently developing, was artificially created by our Western partners”, the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
Kurylenko described the situation with the supply of shells and ammunition to Ukraine's armed forces as “terrible”, as available Western weapons are rapidly being depleted. He emphasized that the attacks of the Russian forces are now limited mainly with the help of FPV drones. Also, according to the military, according to NATO standards, Ukrainian troops are supposed to have modern equipment to fight at the level of the alliance's army, but this did not happen even at the height of the supply of Western weapons.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the CBS television channel said that Kiev will lose in the conflict if it does not receive help from Washington, but the armed forces of Ukraine have almost no reserves of artillery. At the same time, the adviser to the head of the presidential office, Mykhailo Podoliak, reported on the stagnation of the Ukrainian army on the front line.
For his part, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Sirsky, has repeatedly called the situation difficult almost along the entire length of the line of combat contact and also acknowledged the likelihood of advances by the Russian Armed Forces in certain directions.< /p>
