Today the Russian edition of the American magazine “Forbes“ reported that its journalist Sergey Mingazov was detained on suspicion of spreading “fake news” for the Russian army, reported Reuters and BTA.
Mingazov's lawyer, Konstantin Bubon, said his client is now in a detention center in the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk.

Mingazov's lawyer later clarified that his client was detained for sharing posts about alleged war crimes committed by Russian soldiers in Bucha.
Reuters and other media outlets reported early in the war on civilian killings in the Ukrainian city north of the capital, Kiev. Moscow rejected these claims.
