The Czech foreign minister summoned the Russian ambassador in Prague to the foreign ministry to protest a wave of cyberattacks attributed to hackers supported by Moscow, reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
"We call on Russia to refrain from behavior that contradicts UN norms and its own obligations," said Foreign Minister Jan Lipavski.
Several countries, including Germany and Poland, have said they have come under cyberattacks by Russian hackers backed by Moscow.
"Czech Republic is a target and is perceived by Russia as an enemy country," Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakushan said.
At the same time, Germany summoned its ambassador to Russia for consultations for a week in Berlin as a sign of protest against the cyberattacks that victimized the German Social Democrats of Chancellor Olaf Scholz and a number of institutions, AP reported.
