Ukraine on the collapsed building in Belgorod: This is a provocation by Putin - 1

Ukraine claims that the collapse of an entire entrance to a high-rise apartment building in the Russian city of Belgorod may be a provocation by side of Vladimir Putin's regime.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, said footage of the incident showed an explosion, but no rocket or projectile. According to him, the explosion could be the work of the Russians, RBC-Ukraine reported.

Kovalenko did not rule out that this looks very much like a provocation by Russia or an informational provocation to escalate the situation, justifying further strikes on residential buildings in Ukrainian cities. In addition, the Russians have a long history of such sabotage.

Even in the first minutes after the incident, the Russian authorities accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Advisor to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, Anton Gerashchenko, said that this could be a Russian bomb that fell on Russian territory during the aggressor's offensive in the Kharkiv region. Over the past months, Russian planes have repeatedly fired missiles over their own territory. He does not rule out that it is a deliberate provocation, because the Kremlin is not interested in the lives of not only the Ukrainian population, but also its own people.

Analysts working with open sources claim (referring to the footage) that it was an explosion from within. It is possible that the building was blown up intentionally. So far, there is no evidence or fragments of a missile that it is a military projectile.

Belgorod, which is located near the border with Ukraine, is often the target of Ukrainian drone and missile attacks, AFP noted, drawing attention to Kiev's position that these attacks are in response to the daily bombing of Ukrainian cities by Russian forces carried out in the last more than two years.
