The number of wounded in yesterday's Russian attack on the Ukrainian Poltava region reached 22, including three children, Reuters reported , quoted by BTA, referring to the local authorities.

During the attack, homes and power lines were damaged, leaving more than 55,000 consumers without electricity.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine stated in "Telegram" that an X-59 cruise missile was launched against Poltava Region.

The district governor, Filip Pronin, published footage from the scene of the attack, showing smoke rising from garages affected by the impact, and firefighters fighting the flames.

Explosions were heard again last night in Odessa and the region, the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov, announced in "Telegram", BTA reported.

The air alert was declared at 23:11 due to the threat of a ballistic missile attack coming from the Crimean Peninsula.

The leadership of the Ukrainian Black Sea city has called on citizens to hide in safe places until the air raid warning is over.
