Polish citizens will be able to travel to China without a visa for a period of up to 15 days, from July 1 until the end of 2025, said a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kiraj, quoted by the Polish Press Agency and BTA.
This was announced by Mao Ning at a regular press conference in Beijing.
Mao Ning said that China has decided to expand the list of countries eligible for visa-free travel in order to enhance people-to-people exchanges. The expanded list will now include Poland, New Zealand and Australia.
She added that citizens of the three countries will be able to travel to China without a visa for a period of up to 15 days, starting from July 1 until the end of 2025.
Mao Ning also stated that other visa types remain unchanged.
Yesterday, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced China's plans to launch visa-free travel for Polish citizens. Duda made the statement after his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
„It is a great pleasure for me, because the possibility of personal communication is something extremely important to me”, Duda said.
