The campaign staff of US President Joe Biden announced today that his campaign has collected $14 million in donations on the day of the first televised debates with former US President Donald Trump (yesterday) and this morning, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
At the same time, Biden's wavering performance has raised questions about whether he will remain the Democratic nominee against Republican Trump in the November election, the agency said.
Biden's office said the time between 11:00 p.m. and midnight last night, an hour after the televised debates ended at CNN studios in Atlanta, Georgia, was the hour with the most donations since the beginning of the current president's campaign in April of this year.
