According to an already prepared forensic examination, at least three weapons were fired during the rally of Donald Trump in the city of Butler in the US state of Pennsylvania. when the former Republican president was wounded, CNN reported.

The FBI announced yesterday that the neutralized shooter acted alone.

The first three shots are associated with the first suspected weapon, the next five are associated with the second suspected weapon, and the final “acoustic pulse” was issued by the third suspected weapon, according to the conclusion of the audio examination conducted by Caitlin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, a senior researcher at the same institution.

Expert Robert Meher also confirmed that the shooter was about 360-393 feet (110-120 meters) from the podium.

The findings match the TV channel's analysis that the shooter was on a roof 393-492 feet (120-150 m) from the podium when the shots were fired.

The gunshots make the typical sound where a supersonic bullet passes a microphone, reaching it before “the corresponding sound reaches the muzzle,” Meher, who teaches audio forensics at Montana State University, told CNN.

The time between registering the two sounds puts the shooter 110-120 meters from the microphone, Meher said. It is taken into account that the bullet against Trump moved at an average speed of about 800 to 1000 meters per second.
