Finland suspects a Russian vessel violated its maritime border, Reuters reported, referring to a statement from the Finnish government, writes BTA.
„The Border Guard is investigating the incident and will release additional information when it makes progress in the investigation,” said the Scandinavian country's defense ministry press release.
The vessel was spotted today in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland.
Last month, Helsinki said that on June 10, four Russian warplanes entered Finnish airspace, Reuters recalls.
