Iran plans to launch an attack on Israel in response to the killing of the leader of "Hamas" Ismail Hania on August 12-13. These days, Jews celebrate Tisha Be'av.

This was reported by The Jerusalem Post. Representatives of Western intelligence have told about similar plans of Iran in a comment for Sky News Arabia. The attack is expected to be coordinated with "Hezbollah" - an Iran-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon.

"On Tisha Be'av the Jews mourn the destruction of the First and Second Temples. During the annual event, fasting, mourning and self-denial are practiced," The Jerusalem Post recalls.

It is noted that an attack in these days could have an emotional and psychological impact on the residents of Israel.

On July 31, the leader of the political wing of the Palestinian group Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, was assassinated in his residence in Tehran. One of his bodyguards was killed along with him. Afterward, Iran's UN representative Saeed Iravani said Iran would conduct a "special operation" against Israel in retaliation for the liquidation of Hania.

Subsequently, the media, citing Iranian officials, wrote that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had ordered a direct strike against Israel in response to the killing of the leader of "Hamas" Ismail Haniya in Tehran.

Due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine was one of the first countries to evacuate its citizens from Lebanon. Several dozen Ukrainians have already been taken out of the country.
