The Embassy of India in Russia has urged its citizens to leave Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions as a precautionary measure.
Due to the “recent security incidents” the Indian Embassy in Moscow issued this order advising Indian citizens who need assistance to approach the embassy.
On August 6, the Ukrainian army launched a surprise large-scale attack in Russia's Kursk region and advanced into Russian territory. Kiev has made it clear that it will not attack civilians on Russian territory, as the Russian occupation army is doing in Ukraine.
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk announced that Kiev is planning corridors for the evacuation of civilians from Russia's Kursk region to Ukraine and vice versa. In support of local citizens, humanitarian missions will also be organized by providing access to the area of international charitable organizations, she added. In order to realize these intentions, Ukraine is creating a "security zone" in the Kursk region, Vereshchuk specified, the "Reuters" agency reported.
