The Russian "Iskander-M“ , with which Moscow's military attacks positions in Ukraine – most recently on September 3 in Poltava, contain dozens of western parts. This is stated in a new infographic by the UA War Infographics project.
It is noted that 27 parts in the Russian missile "Iskander-M“ are american. Another four parts are of Swiss origin, two are Taiwanese, and one is Japanese.
"Whether there were American parts specifically in the missile fired at Poltava is not publicly reported, but it is a reason to think about how to strengthen the fight against sanctions evasion found even in weapons produced in 2023,” in the project announcement.
