Russia did not interfere in the US election. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by TASS.
He emphasized that this is not the first time Washington has hurled such accusations at Moscow. According to him, these statements do not correspond to the truth.
Peskov commented on US sanctions against several Russian media outlets. Our media is doing its job. They just report. They report the truth, but unfortunately, Americans don't like inconvenient truth, and if it comes out, they immediately retaliate against it. This is the reality, he noted.
The United States will hold a presidential election on November 5. Instead of Joe Biden facing Donald Trump in a battle for office, the current president has announced that he is withdrawing from the race. The Democratic Party nominated his deputy Kamala Harris as its candidate in the election.
