Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has announced a new “ important“ event as part of its peace initiative for the war in Ukraine, which will take place in September, reports the Hungarian portal ATV, quoted by BTA.
During an annual private event, Orban commented on his peace mission: “The mission continues, we are working on it, and in the summer there will be a noticeable and important event in September.“ However, he did not provide further details.
In early July, Orban held meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, former US President Donald Trump, as well as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
