US prosecutors today charged two alleged white supremacist gang leaders with promoting attacks on blacks, Jews, LGBTQ people and immigrants in an attempt to incite of an inter-racial war, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
The group called “TerrorGram Collective“ ("The TerrorGram Collective"), has used the instant messaging app “Telegram” to praise attacks by white supremacists around the world and to advocate for racist violence.
The indictment was filed in federal court in Sacramento, California.
The group targets the US government, officials and critical infrastructure sites with the common goal of causing societal disruption in the US, Justice Department officials said in an online press conference.
