Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the military about another strike on a Russian weapons depot, but did not name the target, Reuters and Ukrinform reported.
„This fundamentally changes the situation - our ability to bring the war back to its home - Russia”, Zelensky said in his evening video address.
He noted that another weapons depot in Russia had been damaged, and one that he said was important for supplying ammunition to its troops. Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian military and the security services that participated in the implementation of the action.
He specifically highlighted the contribution of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to the operation against another Russian army warehouse.
These were storage sites for Russian tactical missiles and guided aerial bombs - all things that Russia uses to terrorize our cities, our positions. And I want to emphasize that we are doing this thanks to our capabilities, our weapons - without those means, which can be provided by our partners and significantly accelerate the end of the war by destroying the Russian offensive potential, Zelensky said.
Today SBU drones attacked the infrastructure of the air base in Shaykovka, in Russia's Kaluga region, where Tu-22M strategic bombers are deployed, BTA points out.
