Four children from one family died after poisoning with an unknown substance in Krasnoyarsk end of Russia, TASS reported, citing information from the regional prosecutor's office.
„The fourth child (12 years old) died that night, the supervisory agency announced.
On September 21, the Investigative Directorate for the Territory and the Republic of Khakassia announced that two children, aged 6 and 13, died as a result of severe poisoning. On the morning of September 22, it became known about the death of another child - an 11-year-old girl.
Expertise showed that the cause of the poisoning of a family in the village of Krasnaya Sopka in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was an unidentified toxic substance. Further investigations will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
As part of the criminal investigation, the owner and seller of a grocery store, a paramedic at the Krasnosopkinsky regional hospital and relatives of the family were questioned. Video footage from CCTV cameras at the grocery store has been seized and examinations have been carried out.
