Iran will not send troops against Israel - 1

Iran will not send its troops to Lebanon and the Gaza Strip to counter its archenemy Israel, which is attacking groups that Tehran supports in the region , Iranian diplomats said today, quoted by France Press.

„The governments of Lebanon and Palestine have the capacity and strength to oppose the aggression of the Zionist regime and there is no need to deploy auxiliary or volunteer Iranian forces,” said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanani at his weekly press conference.< /p>

In recent days, Israel has carried out several strikes against groups considered allied and supported by Iran, including the powerful “Hezbollah” in Lebanon and the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The leader of “Hezbollah“ Hassan Nasrallah was killed on Friday in an Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, a stronghold of the Shiite movement armed and financed by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

„We have not received any requests and we know they do not need the help of our expeditionary force,” Kanani added.

In the strike against the leader of “Hezbollah” Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, deputy chief of operations of the Revolutionary Guards, the ideological army of the Islamic Republic, was also killed in his stronghold in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Friday.

„The Zionist usurper regime will not go unreprimanded and unpunished for the crimes it has committed against the Iranian people, the resistance forces (pro-Iranian groups in the region) and Iranian citizens and soldiers”, Kanani promised.

On Monday, Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian visited the headquarters of “Hezbollah” in Tehran, “to pay tribute“ of Hassan Nasrallah, according to a statement published on the government website.

Supreme leader of the Islamic Republic Ali Khamenei has said that the loss of Nasrallah “will not be in vain”, and First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has warned that it will lead to the “destruction” of Israel.
