US President Joe Biden urged people in the US state of Florida to stay in safe places after Hurricane Milton , reported DPA, quoted by BTA.
"To all affected by Hurricane Milton: I urge you to stay inside and stay off the road,” Biden wrote in "X".
"Downed power lines, debris and water-damaged roads create dangerous conditions,”, he added.
"Help is on the way, but until it arrives, stay in a safe place until local authorities say it's safe to go out.“
Hurricane "Milton” It made landfall late Wednesday evening about 100 kilometers south of Tampa in the Sista Key area as a Category 3 hurricane with sustained winds of up to 120 miles per hour.
Milton subsequently weakened to a Category 1 storm and moved out into the Atlantic.
