Oil tanker catches fire in Baltic Sea off coast of Northern Germany, reports Reuters and News.bg.
According to maritime rescue services, all seven crew members of the vessel were successfully brought to safety ashore.
Three ships have been dispatched to the burning tanker Annika in Mecklenburg Bay to put out the fire. Several firefighting teams have also been sent to the scene with helicopters to provide assistance.
The 73-meter long tanker, sailing under the German flag, is carrying about 640 tons of oil. The vessel is currently at anchor and connected to a tugboat at the scene of the incident.
