A senior official in the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk in eastern Donetsk region, which has become a major target in the westward advance of Russian forces, today urged its residents to evacuate due to an inability to provide essential public services , reported Reuters, quoted by BTA, referring to local media.

„It is already clear that there will be no heating in the city,” Serhiy Dobrak - head of the military administration of Pokrovsk, said, quoted by the RBC-Ukraine agency.

„I appeal to the residents of the city: if you see them installing anti-tank fences around, do not delay, pack your bags and leave. It will become dangerous," he declared.

As a result of a rocket attack against Odessa, according to preliminary data, damage was caused to a three-story building and more than 10 private houses, the acting mayor of Odessa, Alexander Filatov, announced on the official channel of the city on the social network "Telegram". ;, BTA reported.

According to preliminary information, there are currently no deaths or injuries.

The rescue teams from the operational services are working in the field.

The sirens were activated at 20:42 local time (corresponds to Bulgarian time), the shutdown was given at 21:22.

An hour later, an alert was again issued due to a threat of drone attack.

The local authorities call on the residents of Odessa and the region to return to shelters until the alarm, which continues to this day, ends.
