Five people are dead in a shooting at a home near Seattle, and a 15-year-old boy is detained for the crime, Washington state authorities reported, cited by Reuters and BTA.
Among the dead are three children and two adults. A girl who lived at the home was injured, the King County Sheriff's Office said.
It is not yet clear whether all those involved in the case are from the same family. Authorities say they are working to determine the motive for the murders.
The Sheriff's Department received multiple calls about a shooting at a home in Fall City, about 10 miles east of Seattle. A neighbor with medical training was able to administer first aid before emergency crews arrived.
The boy suspected of the crime is being held at the King County Juvenile Detention Center and is expected to make his first court appearance in the coming days.
