Turkey's largest oil refinery, Tupras, suffered serious fire. The incident occurred during routine operations, when a compressor failure led to a fire and injuries to 12 people, reports News.bg.
Refinery management acted immediately to contain the fire and prevent more serious damage. The victims received initial medical aid and were transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Despite the fire, the rest of the refinery's operations were not affected and continue to function normally, the company said.
