US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Alex Wong as his senior deputy national security adviser.

In the administration of current US President Joe Biden, this position is held by Jonathan Finer.

During Trump's first term, Wong served as Deputy Special Representative for North Korea and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs. “As Deputy Special Representative for North Korea, he helped facilitate negotiations during my meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,” said the US President-elect.

Trump nominated member of the US House of Representatives Lori Chavez-Derimer for the post of Secretary of Labor.

„I am proud to nominate Congresswoman Lori Chavez-Derrimer from the great state of Oregon to be the United States Secretary of Labor. I look forward to working with her to create a tremendous opportunity for American workers to increase wages, improve working conditions and bring jobs back to the industry," Trump said.

The US Secretary of Labor is currently held by Julie Sue.

Laurie Chavez-Derimer was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2022. Before that, she served two consecutive terms as mayor of the small town of Happy Valley (Oregon). According to a statement from the transition team, Chavez-Derimer is a “mother and businesswoman” who, together with her husband, has opened several medical clinics in the past.

The President-elect of the United States has announced his intention to nominate former American football player Scott Turner as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Turner previously served as the first executive director of the White House Council on Opportunity and Renewal during Trump's first term, “coordinating ambitious projects to transform the nation's most disadvantaged communities”.

Trump expressed confidence that Turner will continue to work on initiatives to improve the lives of all Americans.

The winner of the presidential election has nominated his former adviser Sebastian Gorka for the position of senior director of counterterrorism at the White House National Security Council.

“Dr. Sebastian Gorka will return to the White House as assistant to the president and senior director for counterterrorism,” the Republican transition team said. Gorka has been called a "tireless supporter of the "America First" agenda. and of the Make America Great Again movement.

In the previous Trump administration, Gorka was deputy assistant to the president, but left the White House in 2017. because of disagreement with the course of the US government. He was also a Republican political strategist.
